Cough Medicine and Cough Drops During first trimester?

So, I didnt know i was pregnant. I was thinking back on any medication i might have taken. I remembered i took some cough medicine and drops will this harm the baby?

you'll both probably be ok but inform your provider what meds you took before you knew you were preggers just in case any issues pop up. These kinds of things happen all the time. I had cold medication and alchohol before I knew I was pregnant. I was terrified but he turned out just fine.

talk to you doctor about it but i know that its the first months that are when your baby is at the most risk from anything in your system

cough drops wont but cough medicine certain kinds could bc they have alcohol in them robitussen is the only safe one I think but dont worry about it practically every woman i know myself included drank alcohol or smoked before they knew they were pregnant

not advisable at all... avoid any drug or alcoholic beverage durign the first trimester as much as possible...
