The person who said garlic oil is right. I have three kids and lots of clients and I swear by this. It's called Mullen Garlic it's olive oil and garlic. The garlic is an anti inflamitory. I use it as follows. Flip your burner on high and get out a metal spoon. Fill it with the oil and run it over your burner until the bottom of the spoon is warm...not hot!!! Then I suck it back up into the dropper and drop it into the ear. Lay with that ear up. If you have a hot water bottle place that over the ear. The oil will heat up and pop out whatever's in there as the garlic helps with the inflamation. Lay with that ear up for about an hour and then roll over..(put a towel down) and lay with that ear down for about the same amount of time. This allows the ear to pop and drain. If you can't find that Collodial Silver also works well. Good luck!!!

Place 2 warm drops of Garlic or Mullein Flower Oil in the affected ear three times daily. Do not use if the eardrum is perforated or if fluid is draining out of the ear. These herbs have antibacterial/antiviral effects and natural pain-relieving qualities.

Echinacea and goldenseal: as directed on the container. They enhance immune system.

Essential fatty acids: 1 to 2 tablespoons of flax seed oil or 1tablespoon of walnut oil or
cod-liver oil daily. It can be mixed with foods. EFA’s are helpful for the prevention of ear infections, as they reduce inflammation and allergenic tendencies.

Zinc: 10 mg for those older than two. You can get in the form of a multi vitamin liquid.

500-1000 mg of vitamin C a day. In high doses, vitamin C is anti-allergenic. If you get diarrhea, cut back your dosage.

Probiotics - can be taken as a daily supplement as they help build a healthy digestive system by replenishing levels of ‘good’ or friendly bacteria in the gut. If you have had a course of antibiotics, take a regular dose of probiotics over the following two weeks to replace the beneficial bacteria lost.
