...taking medicine since 2 yrs after delv Since last 2yrs. I am suffering from thyroidism initially i had hyperthyroidsm consumed carbimazole for 6mnths, then hypothyroidism consuming thyroxine sodium 5mcg. how can i overcome this problem permanantly. get rid of the medication. or is this a permanant disorder that i hav to hav medicine forever. pls guide me

Both of my parents have thyroid problems and for them it is permanent, I think it is usually the case that if you start having to take thyroid medication then you'll have to take it for the rest of your life. (Because of this people in the UK on thyroid medication get their prescriptions for free).
Sorry if this isn't what you want to hear but on the positive side at least the medication is there and enables you to lead a normal life. Before the treatment was available thyroid problems ruined peoples lives (some even ended up in mental hospitals because doctors didn't know what was wrong with them).
Talk to your doctor though because these things are always changing as new treatments are developed.
