if I took medicine that im allergic too what will happen?

Im allergic to codene the last time i took it,(accidentily) i got a very very back headache and my fever reached 102.8. what will happen this time.( if i took it.) p.s. no i dont have a epi pen.
i havent taken it im just wondering what would happen
