What product or medicine would help my dog & cats stop shedding?

Both my dogs & my cats are always shedding but each one does alot of shedding not just a normal amount. Any product or RX from anyones veterinarian that helps with this or just eliminates this problem. I have been using Aller G-3 liquid from my vet & he said that it might help but hasn't. He states he doesn't know of anything to stop it. Please share your solution that you have found for this. No one in our family is allergic to the hair, it's just that it's annoying to have so much. And please don't tell me to get rid of them! Thanks.
Thanks for your time... I was just wondering. I have feed my pets great quality food & supplements, but I think they may have allergies.... that's a possiblity. Thanks again!
