is it worthy to depend on medicines like palmex to cure depression in a longer term?

hey guys i m 20 yr old and m suffereing from some serious depression ,poor concentration and volatile memory. In presssure situations i just tend to crumble down. please advice me some solution like whether i should take medicines or any relaxing exercises .
