...health problem? For those of you who subscribe to any form of theistic doctrine, do you talk to God? I assume all believers do in some manner, with the exception of deists (because they don't think it would matter anyway), but have you ever heard God talk back? And if you so, did it ever occur to you that you might be suffering a hallucination or mental disturbance. And finally, would it matter to you if it was a hallucination, or would the idea itself be gratifying enough to entertain?

this point has been made and noted several times. ive even made the joke personally. but it is possible some could just be hallucinating, or that the convulsive seizures ppl get supposedly from god are actually serious seizures and maybe a sign somethings wrong.
