| Can someone who have suffered from mental health or have mental problems
can become a psychologist? I watch this programe about this woman who have multiple personalities and studying psychology. Whould she ever practise as a psychologist? Does that mean anyone who suffered mental health can be a psychologist? Well said judge??? 'The issue of whether a person is then fit to practice is another issue and one for the professional bodies of those professions.' Thats assuming that you can cure multiple personalities and i thought you can't. is that really true edrogers?? Can everyone please tell me where these views come from. Personal experience or quote source please. I have to add that i'm sure that people with mental health can be intelligent. I didn't say otherwise. I just meant that the health issue can interfere with their work. Couldn't they? |

I think that people go into fields that interest them. My family was in dire needs of psychologists when I got my masters in Psych. I know of people with D>I>D> who study psychology, to discover why they do what they do.
