...Example of Mythology? Mythology means -a popular belief or assumption that has grown up around someone or something.

They claim the Legends of the gods from Greece and Rome are myth. That the gods had relations with human women. And men like Heracles, (Hercules), were born.
But doesn't Genesis say that the sons of God had relations with human women. And Mighty Men were born? Men of fame?
So what's the difference, except in their prideful minds?

I do not agree with the definition. A myth has no basis in fact.
Christianity does.

Of course the story of Christ is mythology.

All religious stories and traditions are mythology, and here's the secret, THAT'S NOT A BAD THING!!!!

Religion is supposed to be mythology.

To the girl that said it's true "We know it's true" or whatever she said... NO. You don't know it's true. You have faith in its truth. To claim that you know god exists is the same thing as claiming you are god. God can neither be proven or disproved. That's why it's called the Christian faith.

Realize that your religion is not more right, no more wrong, no more credible, and no more unbelievable than any other religion. (this is directed to people of all faiths)

have a nice day

A myth is fake. Christianity is not fake.

Well that might be what it is to the ignorant, but as for me I have seen enough supernatural to make it a fact.

Well, somewhere along the way the word mythology or myth got a bad wrap. Thanks for pointing out the real meaning. You're right Christianity is a mythology, but that's not an insult.
