Galactimmus has a spectacular aura about
Well remeber the bible is much about interpretations and 7 days could be a metaphor for 7 ages I heard somewhere that 1 second for God is like a century for man so it would make sence 7 days if we talk of godly time also remember we dont know much about time so it could be merely an illusion so earth in 7 days is not without arguments, As for the other mythologies well Zeus never made miracles and if he "did" were mbiguous things like a temple not destroyed during an erthquake etc. But in christ we have seen real miracles, sanations in seconds from irreversible sickness that would take years if they were treatable, apparitions, supernatural feats just after a prayer etc. God has showed clea manifestations of his power when no other god had.

Religions being the same:
If you believe that Adam was given the complete gospel of Christ at the beginning, then the similarities between all the religions of the world would make complete sense. They're all watered down verisions of the original.
The calendar:
The calendar was also given to Adam from the Lord.
"Now I, Abraham, saw that it was after the Lord’s time, which was after the time of Kolob; for as yet the Gods had not appointed unto Adam his reckoning." So could it be that the Romans got it from somewhere else and have claimed it? I mean, the Mayans (who also got it from God) also had a very accurate calendar. And, one could easily chalk up the slight differences to the passing of time and the errors of man.
Now as for the creation of the world in 7 days, have you considered this verse?:
"And the Lord said unto me, by the Urim and Thummim, that Kolob was after the manner of the Lord, according to its times and seasons in the revolutions thereof; that one revolution was a day unto the Lord, after his manner of reckoning, it being one thousand years according to the time appointed unto that whereon thou standest. This is the reckoning of the Lord’s time, according to the reckoning of Kolob."
So according to this verse, one could assume that it was really 7,000 years not seven days. However, the Lord commands the elements at his will according to all laws of nature. I'm sure if it was seven days, it still would have been possible to God.
