Age of Mythology does not load...?

My dad is trying to play age of mythology, and it installs just fine, he also meets all the system requirements. when he trys to start it it shows the loading screen (the big box in the middle of the screen) and then instead of continuing to the game, it just closes itself. Anyone have any idea what might be causing it?

oh and it worked just fine on his old computer so it is not a disk problem...

he tried re-installing about...5 times now...
oops... didnt mean to re-post the original question... lol
oh, and the key-code is correct.

When you play the game we are asked to accept the terms of the license agreement.You have to select yes to play the game.IF this is not the problem then I don't know what is.

I would try uninstalling it and then reinstalling it, also make sure the authentication key is correct.
