| In Greek mythology, what was the name of the mother of Phaeton? Phaeton was the son of Helios. His father granted him one wish, and this was to drive the sun chariot across the sky. Phaeton lost control of the horses and brought the sun dangerously close to earth so, to avoid a catastrophe, Zeus sent a thunderbolt and killed him. I heard this story a while ago and I just can't remember the name of Phaeton's mother, nor what became of her after Phaeton's death. Can anyone help please?      |
