Wolf suckled twins (Romulus & Remus)
Supposedly the ogham (Druidic alphabet) resembles crane legs. Cranes are also part of Asian mythologies.
Fenris wolf in Northern European mythology
Bear - Ursa Major
Frog - Egyptian Goddess Heget

I don't know of any involving apes though.
