Why are ancient religions and beliefs considered mythology but...

...Christianity is considered real? The ancient Greeks, Romans, Egyptians in particular, had different gods and goddesses, explanations for life, and what not, but nowadays people refer to that as "Greek Mythology", "Roman Mythology", and so forth, but Christianity for some reason is REAL or at least hasn't been proven wrong. If that's so, then what makes the ancient beliefs of other gods, goddesses, and religions so false?
I already heard the Biblical verses and their explanation for it, so please only historical facts that don't include quotes from Holy books. Thanks
FYI, I don't consider ancient religions and beliefs other than Christianity to be myths, I'm just saying there's people who DO see it like that and I'm asking why they think that way.
And what makes Christianity any more or less of being mythology itself, at least the Biblical accounts and stuff.

We Pagans still honor the old gods. They are alive and well to us. Jesus and his entourage were not only plagiaried from the Pagan gods Mithras, Horus, and Tammuz, he was a johnny-come-lately.

That's just the tip of the iceberg my friend. The whole enigma involved in Christianity is vast, troublesome, and hopefully the bigotry will end soon.

It's not easy to answer important questions from any book but the Holy Bible. Bu you could read The Two Babylons by Alexander Hislop, I have read it and feel that he had a good handle on the history of things of importance.

For Christians, it's a sin to believe in false idols or more than one God, therefore it's not real for us. If you're not a Christian, then you should have no problem with it. In the times that those people lived, I'm sure it was a great religion, but the people either died out or adopted different religions in the end, and I don't see Christians doing that any time soon.

Because Christianity is the newest religion craze.

Once another religion comes along and replaces it (which as history tells, happens to all religions), it will drop down in the ranks of being classified as mythology.

The main thing as to why is the massive number of followers.

: )

Its all mythology I suppose....or it's all real. depending on what stance one wants to take on it.

to some, the old gods are just as real as the christian god....and, not really quoting the bible, but the bible itself, just says...thou shall not put any other gods before me...which, to my way of thinking, ...if the bible is real, then so are all the other so called mythological gods that christians don't want us to believe in....

but....the men in power of the christian church's...like their power and want to keep it, therefore, instilling fear into their sheep...keep their power...

but in all reality....their god is just as much a myth as anyone else's....
