silent has a spectacular aura about
Eris was the Greek goddess of discord or chaos. She wasn't "evil", necessarily, just...chaotic. The apple you're referring to is a golden apple that she presented to the other gods as a prank. It was inscribed with "For the Most Beautiful", or something along those lines — but of course, each of the goddesses thought she was the most beautiful. Thus, chaos.

You can read more about Eris and the golden apple story at the link below.

i'm behind you has a spectacular aura about
ERIS was the goddess or spirit (daimona) of strife, discord, contention and rivalry. She was often represented specifically as the daimon of the strife of war, who haunted the battlefield and delighted in human bloodshed.

Because of Eris' disagreeable nature she was the only goddess not to be invited to the wedding of Peleus and Thetis. When she turned up anyway, she was refused admittance and, in a rage, threw a golden apple amongst the goddesses inscribed "To the fairest." Three goddesses laid claim it, and in their rivalry brought about the events which led to the Trojan War.

Eris was closely identified with the war-goddess Enyo. Indeed Homer uses the names interchangeably. Her Roman name was Discordia.

I'm behind you sums it up pretty well but I'd like to add that Eris is generally considered to be Chaotic and Mischievous, but not evil.

She is the central figure of discordianism.

...and she's also been immortalized as a cartoon character in "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy"
