| Why demon heads, sprouting human torsos? I've see it three times in Japanese anime and I'm wondering if it's a specific mythology reference. Dark Gundam (Mobile Fighter G-Gundam), the Birds of Paradise, (InuYasha) and Gara's fight during the Chunin exam arc. (Naruto)      |

| Why demon heads, sprouting human torsos? Well, like with any Japanese comic, who in God's name ever knows what the heck they are thinking? However, demons regurgitating human bodies has been a popular concept in the past if you're one for art history. Try looking up the artist, Hiernymous Bosch; or to be more direct, look up the painting "The Garden of Earthly Delights." Yes, this will be just a field day for you and anyone who really wants to see demons sprouting out human corpses. And, if you ask me, you and Hiernymous Bosch, however artistically genius, are both at least a little demented... |
