Help on a summer reading list?

I'd prefer fantasy books with a male main character, romance is OK. Drama and adventure are things I'd like in the story.I'd like it if it was not a school based novel.books I've read areHarry PotterEragonAnimorphsGregor the overlanderThe lightning thiefEdith Hamilton MythologyI've already read the twilight series so please don't suggest that to me, nor use the book Twilight as a reference book for things I like to read, I generally do not like books of the type and have made an exception in Twilight.I'd like something well written and interesting so please if you have any suggestions.Oh yeah and I've already read Narnia and plan on reading his dark materials so please don't add those either. No Dragon rider books or Artemis Fowl either

Help on a summer reading list?

The Belgariad (5), The Malloreon(5), The Elenium (3), The Tamuli(3) by David and Leigh Eddingshttp://www.eddingschronicles.com/index.html (click on Books link)I can't say enough good about these books. They are full of rich content and fantastic worldbuilding. One of my biggest draws is the humor, the interaction between characters can be side splitting at times. They are rift with dry wit, affectionate banter and personal quirks. My favorite books hands down.Forgotten Realms books by R. A. Salvatorehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forgotten_RealmsToo many to effectively review but characters are predominantly male, very sword, sorcery and adventure oriented.

Help on a summer reading list?

The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien. The Hobbit is a prequel to the trilogy. These books are filled with fantasy, adventure, and have a male character as the main one.Happy reading, and hope this helps!
