"Religion" is the word usually used for a particular brand of mythology that is still widely believed in. "Mythology" is usually applied to those belief systems that no longer have a substantial following.

If we compare all those religions that have passed in time.If we compare all those religions that have survived in time.Where all those Mythologies and Folklore combine,From the past into the future new ones will emerge.Into a world that may wish to believe in supernatural beings,From outer space we peer to see and listen with ears open wide.Thus religion and myths go hand in hand to sing of the Almighty Being to descend from the Heavens high.Thus prove for once and all that Gods do exists,Or Mythology rules the minds of humans exhume.Thus we will understand that religion and Mythology are the same in other worlds so far apart and exist in mind alone.

Mythology is men inventing stories about gods and their behavior, and usually their gods are more powerful, or more licentious than men dare to be in their society.Religion is man's attempt to please God by good behavior and good works and fulfilling some religious rituals.May I suggest a third terminology? True faith in God. True faith in God is God revealing Himself to man and giving man an opportunity to enter into a relationship with Him that will last forever. Faith in the God of the Bible -- not religious dogma handed down from religious establishments-- will answer the three most important questions in life: 1.Where did I come from? 2. Why am I here?3. Where am I going?As long as you can't answer these questions to your own satisfaction.... and have to wait another 100 or so years for science to figure it out for you, with the likelihood that they never will...you have missed the important center of YOUR LIFE NOW.
