Can you help me find this dream symbol in mythology or folklore?

When I was a young child, I had a terrifying dream of of being chased by a white feathered, long beaked, bird/man creature. Does such a creature exist in mythology or folklore? Does anyone have any insight into this symbol?

well being chased means that your trying to run away from an attacker that possibly wants to hurt you.. or it could be stress, hurt, that u are trying to run away from instead of face.
