why doest my PC froze when i play age of mythology?

i dont understand why my pc frozes when a play aom(age of mythology)becouse before i could and now i cant can u guy help me with that plz i really need help

i got 512 mo of ram
why should i do then if i have alredy 512?

there could be many reasons. your video card could be going bad. so when it gets hot now playing high end games like AOM it freezes everything up. Also you need RAM to play games like that and most often a lot of RAM. you could have picked up a virus or adware/spyware that is eating up your memory and slowing things down and freezing things when you try and play AOM. Also your RAM could have gone bad and you don't have enough now to play so it freezes. Your hard drive could have a bad sector on it where AOM resides so now when you try and play it freezes.

if you know how much ram your supposed to have you can right click on my computer, click on properties and it will show you how much the computer is detecting. If it says 64meg when you should have 128meg or 128meg when you should have 512meg then one of your chips has gone bad.

Try spy bot or ad-aware for cleaning up spyware/adware.

try defragging and reinstalling for the bad sector.

if this doesn't fix it. you might try having your video card tested.
