| Greek Mythology question? What did the ancestors of Laius do to be cursed? I know one of the ancestors of laius did something which resulted in a curse for the entire family. What did he do? and who did that WRONG thing? Thank you thank you thank you thank you very MUCH!      |

| I don't think it was an ancestor of Laius that did something wrong-- Laius himself abandoned his son Oedipus because he had been told his son would kill him and marry his own mother (which Oedipus did, unknowingly)... Oedipus's sin was actually doing this and having children with his mother, who he had married because he'd saved Thebes from some danger... this cursed his bloodline. Maybe you meant descedants instead of ancestors? |
