What is a reason of the Greeks for the female’s attraction to the male?

I think the Greeks were very intelligent and the female has been attracted to the male since the start of time.

This is like sociology or something. I think it probably did not matter with arranged marriages and all and I believe the males prefered young studs anyway. I think I read somewhere that the older guys would have sex with younger males who played a passive role. Now to tell you the truth I'm not sure if this is a Roman custom, Medieval custom, or Greek.

The Greek sbelieved that the male body was the pinnacle of beauty, and so there was probably no question but that the females would be attracted to the males. But I don't think they were worried about what the poor females felt about it. THey were just married off and were expected to do their duty and have children.

Are you referring to anything specific in mythology?

The females were married off most of the time-at least that is what my history book says, so probably most of the time there WAS no attraction, but I guess it was because they would be rich, handsome, and zeus was a male god, so that might be a reason. And she's right: what DOES this have to do with mythology?
