Greek Mythology: Is Europa a human or a goddess?

I'm working on a mythology report for English, and in my class, everyone is assigned a god, goddess, or a myth. I was assigned Europa. I did some research on her, and I found nothing that says she was a goddess. So I'm confused, was she considered a human or a goddess? Thanks.
