As time goes by, will modern religions become part of "Mythology" like the greek

ones did? Think about it. At the time of the greeks, even they thought their gods were real. Will this happen to modern religions too, in due time?

This is speculating, please, don't give me that crap about how your religion is the "true" one and will never die out.
Thank you, Dylan, for making the exact statement I was trying to avoid.

Well if history taught us anything, it's that it does repeat itself, so yes I would say so.

Of course it will.

Silly stories die and new, sillier stories replace them.

"Even they thought their gods were real".

A lot of people still honor the Greek gods and look to them as real beings. It may have become "mythology" but the religion itself has not died out.

I would not be surprised if christianity gets placed in mythology one day. I hope I'm alive the day every bible is moved to the fiction section.

Answer.
I believe it would not.

Details and reason.
Firstly It has already survived for thousands of years.

Following that, many believers that I know of, don't accept Christianity for the same reasons the greeks did.
For example.
My friend was born Jewish. Her parents were atheists.
She was posessed by evil spirits.
Long story short, she converted to Christianity.

Stories like that happen, theres others like miracle healings etc.

All things come to an end, eventually. The problem with a lot of atheist thinking is assuming things move in an onward and upward fashion. Reason is the preferred way of looking at things now, but will it always be the case? Human civilizations have advanced and collapsed and been replaced by civilizations hundreds or in some cases a thousand years behind, technologically. We're moving into a weird global state where the world is more or less in tandem, but if we move onto other worlds, or have a disaster here, will that always be the case?

Atheist thinking has been around for a long time too. I think only the players change; the game remains the same.
