Age of Mythology crashing issues??

It is said that when we run the game, the game automatically performs a diagnostic of our compuer and tells us whether we can play the game or not.
Well, i got no message like this. So i bet it meant that i could play the game.
I start the game..... the videos come and then it says....'Initialization Failed'.
Can anyone solve this problem?
