navy bases?

I am living in california and currently enlisted in dep for the navy.I was wondering if i can get choose to have my base on the east coast?

you can put in a preference, but it's up the navy if you will get it and if there are any openings for you. most likely, you will go where they put you.

you can put in where you would like to go but that doesnt mean that you are going to get it because its all based on the needs of the military and what your job is. as of right now the army is the only branch that gives you station of choice and thats even a far shot.
