can i try to become a navy seal with a petty felony?

my charge is vandalism. what i did was break a screen on a window. The total damage was about 50 dollars. what do you think?

You should be fine. My brother was a Navy Seal and he had a pretty good size law violation on his record.

It won't be a problem because they will evaluate you, physically and psychologically, as you are now. Sure, they'll look closely at your felony and they'll likely scrutinize you all the more minutely for it. But I repeat--they will base their decision on how they evaluate you in the here and now. They won't be sidetracked by a petty felony in your past as long as they are sure that that type of behavior on your part is also in the past. Go for it and best of luck to you!!

no sir i highly doubt it. navy and airforce are strict. they will probably refer you to the marines or army.

You may get a waiver. After SEAL training, you will break many more screens and doors.
