| Joining the Royal Navy- help me please? Hi. I am joining as a Warfare Officer (with luck) but am going to have to wait for some time until I start training...I've been told September SOONEST. I live with my parents at the moment, but my girlfriend (who lives with hers, as we've both just finished Uni) is saying we should move out and get a place together in Bristol. She'd get a proper job, I'd just get something to tide me over until training starts. We'd either rent, or buy, a small place of our own. Bearing in mind, however, that I could be off to Dartmouth in a year, what would you do if you were me? Get a place to ourselves and leave her living there whilst I go off training? Or just stay with my parents? I'm prepared to send the girlfriend my rent whilst I am training. All serious thoughts welcome, thanks! |
