Can someone tell me about the cryptology program in the US navy.

Preferably someone who had that rate before.? I am joining the navy, and the cryptology team is one of the rates I am interested in. I am looking the hardest at the maintenance position CTM, and the new rate CTN (Cryptology Technician Networks). If anyone has some first (or second) hand info I would be pleased to hear fom you.

CTx is Classified so you will NOT be able to get much if any information on a public source website. the about.com site is fairly accurate for a non -DoN source of information.

I WANT to say CTM is gone by the wayside and has merged into IT..

CTN is brand spanky new and only recently has been opened up to initial accessions. It's anti hacking..your job is to protect DoD computers from being compromised.
