I have several questions about the Navy and Navy Reserves?

Q1) is it at all possible to join the Navy Reserves at 16?
Q2) I plan on joining the Navy Reserves in high school if possible, but as soon as i graduate high school is it possible for me to Transfer to the regular Navy?

You have to be at least 17 years of age to enlist in any American military branch, with parental consent.

If you want to join the Navy, wait until you finish high school and enlist for active duty. Transfer from the Naval Reserve to active duty Navy are nearly impossible.

No, at 16 you can't join any military branch.
After you graduate school, you can join whatever branch you wish.
