| Do you think that the submarines will replace aircraft carriers? Just like how oars are replaced by sails, sails by ironclads, and ironclads by battleships. What is your opinion on this? What is the best type of ship that would prevent the elimination of surface ships? |

| No, they perform completely different jobs. The job of the submarine is either to be a hunter killer of other ships or subs and also to be a mobile missile platform. The job of the aircraft carrier is basically to be a floating city, able to exude strength, power and rearm aircraft for future strikes.

| Uh no, because how do you launch an aircraft from a submarine? First of all sails were not replaced by ironclads, they were replaced by steam engines, then diesel engines and finally nuclear recators. You will never need to prevent the elimation of surface ships. They will always be around. |
