SHSU has a spectacular aura about
Joining the Air Force?

I was in the Army for 109 days and I was discharged because of a knee injury (Re 3 JFW). The Army approved my waiver to join active duty and reserves, but I want to see if I can join the Air Force. I know they do not take prior service, but I am considered previous service because I wasn't in for more than 180 days. Do you think I will be able to join the AF? Thanks.

The Air Force is force shaping right now, so it will be A LOT harder for you to get it waivered to go active duty. The air force is not taking anyone... I have a friend who is perfectly healthy and she's a reservist and she's been trying to go active duty for almost 3 years now with no luck. Your best bet is to try and contact a recruiter and explain to them your situation....but having that knee injury that got you discharged from the army will probably disqualify you from the air force.
