Has the invasion of Iraq lowered the standing of the US military?

Many around the world now view the US as terrorists. Torure, bombing of civilians, blackwater massacres, lack of accountablity. The war drags on and more die. IS the US' reputation tarnished and are they now viewed as an enemy of freedom?
