| The Navy's Battle Efficiency award (Battle "E") is awarded to ships that prove their effectiveness through inspections and operations. The Battle "E" is a big deal; it means that a ship and her crew are able to do their job. The two ribbons that I value the most are my Battle "E" and my Sea Service ribbons.
