My girlfriend wants to join the Navy-ROTC nursing program. Will she have...

...to serve abroad (in Iraq)? Basically, my girlfriend wants to be a nurse but she doesnt have enough money. I know there are student loans, but she would like to avoid going into debt. She was told by a recruiter that she can go to school for two years (all expenses paid), and then must serve for two years. After two years, she can leave the military. Is that true? and will she be able to serve as a nurse in the states or could she be forced to go to Iraq or another country?
