Joey B has a spectacular aura about
Army, navy, airforce, marines basic training?

Can someone tell me the differences in basic training between the army, navy, airforce, marines, and national guards.
which is harder and longer? is it possible to work full time in the national guard?

I went through Navy bootcamp in 1980 and it was not bad at all ( we could look over the fence in S.D. and see the Marines and they had it much worse than we did) Yes if you go into the N.G. you can still work full time as there are laws enacted to allow you to drill with your unit and not lose your job due to that.

Basic training is basic training, regardless of the branch. If you're looking for which branch has the easiest basic training, I'd rank them as follows (hardest to easiest):

Marines
Army
Navy
Air Force

Yes, there are full time National Guard positions.
