April 26, 2008= Woodstock Lodge #246= Will hold our Mother's Day Celebration Family Dinner. All family members are welcome to attend as well as any Mason, Eastern Star, Rainbow or Demolay. We will be honoring all of our Mother's. To celebrate this occasion, we have invited the Worthy Grand Matron of the Eastern Stars of Georgia, Betsy Nibeck and Christiane Cochran the Grand Worthy Advisor of Rainbows and also Richard Eells the State Master Councilor of the Demolay to talk about their organizations. The Demolay will present the "Flower Talk". In addition, Dr. Gary H. Leazer a Past Grand Chaplin of the Grand Lodge of Georgia and the current Editor of the Georgia Masonic Messenger will give a message on the 'Myths about Freemasonry'. This will be a night filled with food, fun and fellowship so please put this on your calendars now and be sure to attend. The Lodge will furnish the meat entrees and mashed potatoes and gravy. May 17, 2008= Masters Lodge #295= North GA Masonic Festival=GACHIP Program at GBI Headquarters; 3121 Panthersville Road Decatur, GA 30034. Located at the intersection of Clifton Springs Road. Less than 1 mile from the 285-Flat Sholes Road exit. I estimate a need for 60 volunteers to properly staff this event, 4-5 of those being medical staff. Setup and tear down is needed, the hours for the volunteers will be closer to 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. All volunteers are welcome and needed. Brethren if you signed up for a booth and did not request electricity but will need it.
