I was asked to try to find the 6th District Traveling Gavel. I know that Hampton Lodge #70 has the Jonesboro traveling gavel. The Traveling Hat is at Griffin Lodge #413. The Rex Lodge Traveling Gavel is at Montgomery Lodge #31 Now that was said, if there is any Traveling Gavel in your District. Now Eastpoint Traveling Gavel is at Wolihin Lodge #390 in Macon, Ga. They say that they are keeping the Traveling Gravel under Lock and Key. I believe that is a direct challenge for any lodge in the Six District to come and get it!!! Please let me know and I will try to keep you up to date where it is at. Maybe this will help to promote more traveling in your District. Darrell Flanigan

5th District= Clarkston took their Traveling Gavel back last week. They have a page about it at listing present location and where it's been.= Carroll Lodge No. 69 has reclaimed it's Traveling Gavel from the Brothers of Sand Hill No. 350.

January 24, 2007= Morrow Lodge #734= Southside Memorial Association met at 6:30pm. and Lodge of instruction at 7:30pm.

January 25, 2007= Mount Vernon Lodge #22= Grand Masters Forums and Workshops. at 6:30pm.

January 25, 2007= George Walton Lodge #699= Confering the Enter Apprentice Degree. This will be a special time for the Junior Deacon, Bro. Mark Guilfoyle. His son and nephew are scheduled to receive the Enter Apprentice Degree. Degree will start at 7pm.

January 25, 2007= Mount Hermon Lodge #304= Will confer the Enter Apprentice Degree on two candidates. For this meeting, we will eat at 6pm, and open at 7pm. Enter Apprentice, Fellowcraft, and Master Masons are invited to attend. Baron Conklin/WM lgtkd@knology.net

January 26, 2007= Scottish Rite Augusta= 2007 Grand Master�s Forums and Workshops at 6:30pm.

January 27, 2007= Rutland Lodge #298= 2007 Grand Master�s Forums and Workshops at 8am. At the Scottish Rite Center in Macon, Ga. There is to be a Trial Commission Workshop in Macon this year. WB Douglas McDonald and PGM Tom Reese will be the principle speakers.

January 27, 2007= Mt. Hermon Lodge #304= Will host a Lodge of Instruction. We will have breakfast tidbits at 8:00am, and open at 9:00am. We expect to finish by 11:00am.
