| In theory, can an optical device "translate" any, and all, wavelengths of light into
the visual spectrum? Just like Night VIsion Goggles allowing one to see objects in the infrared, or near infrared, spectrum. Is there a way to do that with all wavelengths of light? Is there a way that I can "see" the electromagnetic field(s) around an object?
