I've had that off and on my entire life and I'm 34. They've not caused me any problems beyond the pain.

I keep getting sudden sharp pains in my head that feels like I being

stabed....Is this normal? First of all, I'm 16 yrs old.

And since I was like 9 I started having randomly sharp pains in
my head (In different places of my head) that feels like I'm being stabed.
Sometimes it only lasts for a split second, but sometimes It lasts up to several secings. (Which feels like forever
when it feels like your being stabed in the head)
And sometimes it happens a few times a day, but sometimes
it only happens once evey few months.

My mom says it's nothing.
But my Bf says that it could be serious,
and that I should go get it checked out.

So...My point is, Does anyone know what this could be?
If it's serious, or nothing at all?

Does anyone else have this?

I think I've had that before, but not too often. I consider it a form of a headache. If it's bad enough that you are worried about it, you should see a doctor.
