Sharp pain under ribcage?

I'm having this sharp, stabbing like pain at the bottom and just under my ribcage. It hurts if I breathe in too deeply or if I move my stomach at all. I was eating and sitting down just before. Is this anything serious or not?
And they just went away -___-. But what was causing this pain?
