Would you rather be in severe pain all over your body (joints, muscles), or eat...

...way too much? Which is better? Which would you rather be? You can either eat everything in sight or be in severe pain all throughout your body. The reason you eat so much is because your medicine causes you to eat like a horse. You have been in chronic pain for several years, with it becoming quite severe (interfering with your life & performance) in the last six months. The herbal medication relieves a lot of the pain, but causes your appetite to soar. The pain relief is great though, but I have been trying to lose more weight. So given that info, what would you do? Why? Thanks for your input.
