emergency room sounds like an infection, but if can't go then. Try to gargle with salt water to soothe the throat. Ice cream will help and a heating pad for your chest.

You need to seek professional help ASAP, and whatever you do right now do not supress the cough, you need to cough up the sputum. You body is doing what it is suppose to do, and it is trying to bring up all of the sputum in your lungs. If you have blood in your sputum most likely your lungs and bronchi are so inflammed its causing them to bleed, which msot of the time means infection.
