I have chronic pain, especially right between the shoulder blades and a stiff...

...neck; chiropractic helps, so...? does regular massages but nothing ever really gets completely rid of it. I have extremely tight muscles, very stiff, and don't want to be on prescription strength muscle relaxants for the rest of my life. Magnesium and potassium supplements help, so does soaking in a hot tub. Can anyone suggest anything else? I'm too young to feel this old! Thanks in advance!

have you ever had an MRI? Maybe you have a slipped disc or something....Nobody should have to live in such pain with today's advanced medicine. Request an MRI from your primary care physician...chiropractors are not always the best form of treatment - sometimes that can actually worsen a problem.

Do you work alot with your hands in front of you? I do, as a server and bartender and I have the same problem. There are exercises you can do but it never really seems to go away for me. Sometimes I take a muscle relaxer and that helps some.

No. Take Ibuprofen and apply both hot and cold compresses.
