How can I make my parents feel the same pain they made me feel?

When I was 15 I messed up. I gave in to peer pressure, can't explain what happened to me. I had made mistakes before, but nothing bad, I used to be a good teen. I did no crime, just messed up. I soon realized my mistakes, apologized, pleaded for my parents's trust, but they were unforgiving. I did everything, but they didn't give it, said they needed time, I sufreed terribly, I was really sorry, but worse than a harsh punishment was losing their trust, I really loved them, that was extremely important and they didn't gave it back to me. the rest of my teen life was hurtful, I was awyas depresed, devastated. I think I got ther trust when I went to colllege, but it was too late, so hurt I was. Now I'm 24, an engineer, have a good job, have a daughter they hardly know, we hardly talk. Well, now they made a mistake and asked for my help. I will, but want to do something that make they feel the same pain I felt, something they never forget. What should I do or say? This is not revenge
