upper back..shoulder and chest pain...help?

i feel like i have pulled every muscle in my body from the waist up...i noticed this after a 3 day shopping trip and a mamogram which was a little painful..it kinda got better then i woke up and it hurts again..seems like after exertion that i'm not used to i just hurt reallly bad..what could be wrong and do pulled or strained muscles take a long time to heal..it is worse in morning and nighttime..
