how tough is it to see your bf/gf in pain?

Last night my boo Darren slipped and fell on his shoulder in my living room. Weve been together for over a year so he wasnt embarrassed, but he was surely hurt. He hit the carpet hard. I thought everything was ok at 1st, but he started gripping his shoulder. It was internal pain, his arm and everything is normal on the outside. I got worried cuz I thought he broke it. We're both 18 and go to the same school and he frequently spends the night over since my mother knows Im gay and knows about our relationship. She's cool with him staying over. And he spent the night with me last night and he was in so much pain that he couldnt even put his arm around me like he usually does so I held him instead. He's a strong masculine guy that can take pain while Im the opposite since Im a femine pretty boy but even he couldnt hide the pain. All Saturday I had to take care of him since he couldnt lift his arm. It was tough for me seeing him like that. But it was just a cramp and he barely feels itnow.
