upper back and upper chest pain, switched from right side to left?

about 2 weeks ago i started experiencing upper back pain on the right side of my body around the shoulder blade area, about 2 days later i noticed when i took deep breaths i had an increasing pain in the upper right chest area (about 3-4" up from the nipple). ive tried aleve, motrin, asprin, and tylenol and aleve seems to dull the pain slightly but not much. i didnt take pain meds hardly at all, probabally once on the first day when i noticed back pain and thats all. about after a week had finally passed the pain almost all went away then it came back again but now its on the left side and has the same symptoms. i dont have health insurance (due to a forgotten bill - resumes beginning of next month).
then ill see doc if it dont go away by then. <-- i know that sounds bad
