Chest Pains...?

I'm 19 years old and a bit doubtful on the whole Heart attack chest pain... But this hurts. I've had the pains before, but none of them have consisted for this long. The pain starts in my chest, and then moves on towards my back. It's a stabbing feeling pain that stays for a couple of minutes. When I lay on my side the pains get worse. I'm not sure exactly what to do- My insurance ran out a few days ago, and I do not want it to be just heart burn or anything if I do end up going into the ER or an Urgent Care center.

The pains have been going on for about two hours now. I haven't eaten anything spicy, and i've never gotten heart burn before.

Ah yes, I am also a smoker, about a pack a day, since I was about 16. I am a bit overweight, but nothing too extreme.
