lower stomach pain, specifically below the belt.?

husdand has had this for several weeks, feels like he's constipated but has diarrea!, Diarrea does come and go. But the pain seems to be quite bad at times. Its situated 2 to 3 inches below the belly button and crosses from one side of the stomach to the other. No side pains, no back pains, no fever no vomiting.

he should see a doctor maybe he has a blockage thats only letting liquids by,also he could have a hernia incarcerating his bowels.

If this has been for several weeks he should see a doctor and have stool tests.

Has he traveled recently, eatin any unusual foods, etc. Are the symptoms there all the time or just off and on for several weeks?

I really think he should have stool cultures, and O&P testing-just as a precaution.

Google webMD and enter symptoms for possible causes.
